If like me you like X Factor, then you would have been one of the 13.8 million people who tuned in to watch Saturday's launch show.
Apart from listening to the fantastic talent, I couldn't keep my eyes of the jaw-dropping outfits that some of the contestants performed in. While I'm all for originality and "putting your own stamp" on a trend, the new stylist certainly raised a few eyebrows (and for the wrong reasons).
From the wild and wacky Storm Lee to the sophisticated and elegant long maxi dress that Rebecca Ferguson sported. To the mid road rough and ready look that suited painter/decorator, Matt Cardle and teen boyband, One Direction.
The new stylist certainly didn't cut any corners on style and it's clear she listened with a careful ear to Simon Cowell's instruction to drive up the contemporary look.
The music mogul so-say said, he had become "bored with the former stylists work on contestants like Joe McElderry and Olly Murs. And wanted new staff to look to stars like Rihanna and Lady Gaga for inspiration."
Well if I didn't know that it was No1's night, I would have thought it was 80's retro night. The controversial Katie Waisell, was criticised by Louis Walsh, he said: "I don't get you...It seems you're all about style over substance." The 24-year-old receptionist looked just like Lady Gaga but sang like a rock singer reject.
And unbelievably, Simon turned around and said to Treyc Cohen, who was wearing a gorgeous figure-hugging dress, that he "didn't like what she was wearing." What is going on here? What do you think about the outfits the contestants were wearing?

Finally I have found a pair of shoes that soothes
At long last I have managed to find a pair of heels that A. is comfortable B. Are good value for money and C. looks stylish.
It's rare to find a pair of shoes that fills all of those needs, especially with the sky scraper heels that has been appearing on the catwalk and high street for a while.
But on Saturday while I wandering around the streets of Gloucester, I popped into Marks and Spencers (for what should have been for my evening dinner) and came out with a pair of shoes instead. But how could I refuse a bargain? They were calling me to go over and try them on, so I did and I immediately knew they were my new best friend.
The gorgeous pair of mid-heel black patent shoes is wide fit and sits nicely on the foot with a strap crossing over the top of the foot. They looked very stylish with the skinny jeans I was wearing, but would also look good with works trousers, a pretty summer dress or a high waist skirt.
At £19.50, I couldn't resist showing my excitement to the young girl behind the till by saying that I would have paid more for them in New Look even after the student discount had been added.
